Hollywood tarnishes even the famous dead with new hardcore Marilyn Monroe video discovered

The NY Post has an exclusive story about a sex movie of Marilyn Monroe before she was famous—she’s engaged in a sexual act with an unidentified male. The video is reportedly copied from a classified video held by the FBI. The Post says a New York businessman paid $1.5 million for the tape and the purchaser will keep it under lock and key.

I guess there are those who’d like to see Monroe doing something the FBI in the past noted as “perverted.” This sort of voyeurism goes to the heart of celebrity fascination, something I’ll never understand. I hear criticisms of corporate executives who draw large salaries and perks. In truth, the entertainment market today is probably the most lucrative you can be in. Consider the wealth of celebrities who often have a platform completely devoid of talent. You’d think we’d hear criticism of all the money those people make. I wonder how much lasting art will really come out of the entertainment we view today. How many movies will become classics?

The legend of Marilyn Monroe already sizzles with innuendo. I can’t help wondering if the New York businessman and the feds aren’t protecting the man receiving the benefits of Monroe’s sexual talents. That's the personal attitude developed after my years in media. Bloggers are already all over the story, and the latest development in Monroe's sexual escapades will hopefully stay buried in the businessman's vault. (Filed by Kay B. Day)
