Loved ones of missing person Jennifer Kesse keep her case in front of the public

(Orlando, Fla.)-We were heading north on I-95 last week, and as we passed a large RV we noticed a missing person poster the size of a mini-billboard. The poster, attached to the back of the RV, showed a photo and announcement related to Jennifer Kesse, who disappeared in Orlando Jan. 24, 2006. An Orlando police officer told Dateline NBC (May 13, ’06) Kesse’s case is “as close to a vanishing as I’ve ever seen.”
By all accounts, Kesse maintained close contact with her family and her boyfriend. She talked to both on Jan. 23. She had promised to mail a cell phone to a friend of her brother—the friend had left a cell phone at Kesse’s condo. One theory holds that she went out that night to try to find a mailbox. Investigators also looked hard at day laborers doing work at her condo complex. Kesse, 24, had mentioned to her parents the laborers made her “uneasy.” Two days after she disappeared, her black Chevy Malibu was located in the parking lot of an apartment complex approximately one mile from her condo. Security cameras captured images of someone dropping the car off.
A website and MySpace page have a great deal of information about this young woman who worked as a financial analyst. The family notes in a letter on the website that CBS ‘48 Hours Investigates’ is doing an entire show on Jennifer in late April/early May and the date will be posted.
Please take a look at the websites and if you have any information or know someone who might, contact authorities as directed on the poster. Had we not seen the back of the RV as we headed away from Florida, we wouldn’t have known about this young woman missing from a city close to home. Someone knows something. Help this family learn the whereabouts of their daughter by coming forward. (filed by Kay B. Day)

Thanks for keeping the awareness alive for Jennifer. Just last week, the Florida Legislature passed Senate Bill 502- The Jennifer Kesse and Tiffany Sessions Missing Persons Act, which is now on Gov. Crist's desk awaiting his signature for it to become law.
Thanks!
For UCFAlumni, I really appreciate your telling us about that bill. After I saw the poster on the RV, I wrote down Jennifer's name so I could help raise awareness about her case. I sincerely hope someone will come forward, and I will keep this in front of my readers here. Best wishes, Kay B. Day (Admin.)
