Crist hack Kennedy assails Rubio supporters in political class war

The St. Petersburg Times let its leftwing spirit dominate a story* on Thursday. The header related to Senate frontrunner Marco Rubio (R), suggesting misuse of campaign funds which turned out to be non-misuse of campaign funds. The paper threw in a little ancient history for good measure, returning to charges about expenses under the former chair of the Republican Party of Florida. The article alluded to a blogger for The Miami-Herald who dug into the current campaign funds story and came up with nothing.

Where were all these leftie papers when former Rep. Robert Wexler ran into financial problems with a mortgage and his campaign funds? Oh, that’s right. Wexler was a fire-breathin’ liberal before he slipped off into the sunset and he did that slipping quietly. I suspect Wexler knew the jig was up on his residency situation. Wexler’s family didn’t even live here, according to reports from other media.

The Palm Beach Post did report on Wexler’s funny money capers, by the way. The Post said, Although Democratic U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler hasn't owned a home in Florida for more than a decade, his campaign held a second mortgage until this year on a West Palm Beach house that's now in foreclosure.”

But that’s another story and this one actually involves another neo-liberal Democrat and a neo-lib Democrat lite.

The SPT story wound around to Democrat-lite Gov. Charlie Crist’s No Party Affiliate campaign. Crist has been hop-stopping around Florida in an attempt to grab some Democrat votes since he’s short on Republican votes. The paper reported this bit of news about that: “Crist campaigned on Wednesday in Broward County, where he accepted the endorsement of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The governor looked a bit uncomfortable, though, as Kennedy railed against the ‘corporate plutocracy threatening now to crush out democracy,’ called tea party activists crackpots and said Rubio has an ‘I-can-be-as-stupid-as-I-want vision for our country.’"

Kennedy the Democrat is apparently incapable of understanding the damage his party, president and Congress have wreaked on the Republic. I’ve followed politics for a long time. Never in my lifetime have I witnessed such ineptitude and lack of ethics. This Congress has passed momentous bills without reading them. This president has yielded sovereign power to the UN —the documentation is all right there in the bowels of the UN paper chain and in current legislation and reports on what the UN calls human rights. Most of those in the political class are completely clueless on actual facts.

Somebody should tell Kennedy to go look in the mirror and wipe the superiority off his face. His party has been a singular, historic failure—Democrats are spending this country into bankruptcy.

And somebody should remind the republic this election is the most important you have voted for to date regardless of your age. Kennedy is a perfect example of everything that is wrong within the power machine that runs our government. He and his neo-liberal kin have looted this country and have no respect for the American people.

We are fighting a political class war here, with words. Should we lose, we lose it all to men like Kennedy who have been around since the lord of the manor told people what they could or could not plant and took a sizable percentage of what they planted for his own indulgence.

Kennedy and the Democrats are the new plantation owners. There’s only one path to freedom on Nov. 2. Remember what the Democrat Party represents when you vote because members certainly do not represent you.

Kennedy is nothing more than a hack. Considering the obstacles the real Democrat Rep. Kendrick (‘I’d vote for ObamaCare all over again’) Meek is facing, Kennedy’s slurs raise a curious question. Did Kennedy want to cost Crist votes to help the real Democrat?

It’s obvious which party the newspaper wants to help.

Hacks all.

By the way, Rubio wanted to donate money to a fund to help needy kids with private school tuition. That is perfectly legal. (Commentary by Kay B. Day/Oct. 14, 2010)
