Breitbart dangles $100,000 'reward' for JournoList archive

New media titan Andrew Breitbart is offering $100,000 for anyone who comes forward with what bloggers call the 'JournoList.' Breitbart is agreeing to fully protect the source who comes forward. Breitbart's offer comes on the heels of Dave Weigel's departure from The Washington Post.

The US Report doesn't link to WaPo for any reason, since learning of the publisher's intent to sell access to cabinet officials for outrageous amounts of money. I do cite the paper on occasion, however. I've documented a number of offenses committed by the newspaper; at least I deem them offenses.

Weigel was hired to do stories about Republicans, the Tea Party and conservatives.

As a Republican, I told everyone I knew that Weigel was not by a long shot, in my opinion, too fond of Republicans, conservatives or anyone else not enamored of today's Democrat Party. Turned out I was proved right by emails someone leaked containing snarky comments about conservatives by none other than Weigel.

Why, I ask you, do people use a term like mainstream media to describe national branded media aligned with Democrats and big government proponents?

At any rate, there's supposed to be a list of journalists who cozy up to each other and basically control the political narrative, or try to. The good news is Main Street is smarter than elitists realize and we cover the real news and apparently, Main Street likes what we indies and alternative media are writing.

Breitbart's offer sounds genuine about the JournoList reward. I figure it shouldn't take too long for the list to go public. In this Obama-conomy we have going, $100k would go a long way. Actually we ought to call it the 'Obomba-conomy.'
