Obama says Pelosi, who said SC plant should shut down, is the ‘best’
Monday, October 31, 2011 at 5:26PM President Barack Obama recently called Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) “one of the best Speakers of the House this country ever had."
Right.
In a recent interview with CNBC, here’s how ‘the best’ answered a question about the Boeing plant in South Carolina:
Q: Do you think that it’s right that Boeing has to close down that plant in South Carolina because it’s non-union?
Pelosi: Yes. [Hesitates] I don’t know if they should close it down—I would hope that they would make it union.
South Carolina is a right-to-work state. Obama’s National Labor Relations Board has actually filed a complaint against Boeing, a private sector employer, because the company wants to add jobs in a non-forced unionism state. This is another example of federal politicos trashing the US Constitution, the Tenth Amendment in particular.
Labor Union Report explains just how misguided –I am deliberately being kinder than a liberal with my label—the former speaker’s answer really is. Watch the video posted at LUR at Red State featuring a clueless Pelosi.
"The best"?
No wonder we’re in the mess we’re in, Mr. President.
Screen snip from a Labor Union Report posted at Red State where you can see a video depicting President Barack Obama's example of the "best" speaker the country has had. Moments like this should inspire conservatives to come up with our own version of 'Saturday Night Live.'
