BlackFive pays tribute to fallen troops that were subject of 'Black Hawk Down'

Black Hawk Down by Mark Bowden is one of the best war books I've ever read. The account of Operation Gothic Serpent in Somalia is a profound tale of heroism among politics run amok during Bill Clinton's first term as president.

The website BlackFive pays tribute to the fallen troops who sacrificed all for that operation. A list of those who gave their lives as well as updates and cross links are included.

Monday was the 18th anniversary of the mission.
