Birther Left feeds frenzy on Obama controversy amid disaster in Washington

The Birther Left is closing ranks around the issue of President Barack Obama’s birthplace. I’ve noticed every time a conservative or a Republican appears on a talk show hosted by a left leaner, the questions about Obama’s birthplace begin. You can sum up questions asked by pundits like former Democrat politico Chris Matthews and leftwing chatterbox Joy Behar into a generic script.

Show host gets look of concern on face, makes eye contact with guest. Host leans forward and asks (with level of hysteria ranging from 1-10 on Freud’s gender-biased scale): “Do you REALLY BELIEVE President Obama wasn’t born here?” [Now that Donald Trump has the bully pulpit, a reference is usually made to his investigation.] The talk host will then proceed to assail the guest, conservatives, Republicans and anyone else who isn’t a socialist progressive, whether the subject believes Obama was born in Hawaii, Kenya or he emerged fully grown at birth and headed to Harvard to edit the Law Review.

Legacy media is pushing the birth certificate controversy as a political tactic—Trump may be grabbing attention but that same media is only too willing to fuel the issue in a preemptory attempt to squelch it.  That is nothing new in the alliance between Democrats and legacy media. FDR, JFK and Woodrow Wilson were a few of the presidents protected by a media determined to erect a myth rather than tell the truth about everything from womanizing, vote-buying and back channel foreign policy to strokes and other physical conditions. Putting it bluntly, Democrats have routinely lied to the nation.

By the time Obama ran for president under a different name many of his familiars knew him by, legacy media jumped on board to promote a candidate previously known as Barry Soetero rather than to vet him even when the candidate got the number of US states wrong and did not realize his own  very large blunder.

Gov. Sarah Palin acknowledged the double standard on Fox News’ Greta van Susteren show Tuesday. Palin pointed out the extreme scrutiny still applied to her own life in comparison to the pass offered the president.

Meanwhile the U.S. war has expanded to Yemen, Pakistan and Libya and current foreign policy has produced disasters with Mexico and the entire Middle East. Food and energy prices have skyrocketed as a direct result of this administration’s policies, and the socialist experiment providing health insurance programs will one day run out of doctors and funding.

The US Treasury is being looted and in that executive seat is Tim Geithner, a man a former Australian prime minister called a ‘gigantic fool.’

Times are good for no one (unless you’re a political parasite) and the Treasury Dept. wants the debt ceiling raised again.

As if those aren’t enough to cause concern, the Obama Justice Dept. seems fixated on suing US states desperate to do something about the federal government’s refusal to address the issue of record numbers of undocumented foreign citizens on US soil (and drawing welfare benefits funded by US taxpayers). You could assemble a foreign army in the U.S. right now and the government wouldn’t know it.

As if that wasn’t enough, the Labor Relations Board which is an executive branch entity is trying to squelch Boeing’s plans to provide jobs to at least 1,000 people in South Carolina.

If there are doubts in some quarters about Obama, you can blame the Birther Left and legacy media. And by the way, accept the obvious—the oldest form of discrimination in the history of the world isn’t racial, it’s gender-based. All you have to do is take a look at the ridiculous articles written about Palin and her son.

Legacy media is already campaigning for a candidate ahead of 2012. Look to alternative media for the truth about what this administration has done to this nation, and whether you’re a single mom in subsidized housing or the CEO of a mid-size corporation, be prepared for epic disaster if business continues as usual in Washington. To paraphrase a notorious pastor, your chickens will definitely come home to roost; it's just a matter of time.

President Barack Obama has released his official long form birth certificate. Donald Trump, possible presidential candidate is (rightfully) taking credit for the president's decision. Meanwhile, The Smoking Gun points out a few oddities in that certificate.

Now Trump wants Obama's educational records released.

I don't think this issue will go away--especially with the new Corsi book coming out.

Maybe we'll get around to some policy issues one of these days.
