Is a class action lawsuit warranted as Dems burn millions, aim to hike taxes?

The U.S. Air Force estimates a cost of $181,757 per flight hour for Air Force One. What did Obama’s recent long travel-heavy campaign cost taxpayers? (Photo: The White House)I realize Democrats control most of U.S. media and that’s one reason the public is sorely uninformed about this party’s scandals and shortcomings. The current climate defies reality.

President Barack Obama is obsessed with tax hikes, targeting upper middle class households whose income hits $250,000 a year. If you tend to be the jealous type, you may be happy to see your successful neighbor pay more in taxes. Your happy moment won’t last long, however, once you begin to feel the impact along with your fellow Americans. When tax hikes are levied on a weak economy, everyone pays regardless of what neoliberals tell you.

As Obama and the Democrats plan additional looting of the private sector, they’re burning millions of taxpayer dollars.

For instance, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) crowed about grabbing $256 million taxpayer dollars. Your dollars will help build more local transportation for the city whose name is a symbol of political corruption—Chicago. Basically Durbin extorted taxpayer money to pay for a local project. Who said Dems ever read the Constitution?

Then there’s the project Dem congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D.C.) touted as the “largest economic development in the United States…” What might that be? A new Homeland Security compound in the nation’s wealthiest district that is also the nation’s biggest recipient of food stamps—our capital. Norton’s a pro at padding her local coffers—what other area in the U.S. gives every single student up to $10,000 a year to attend a public U.S. college?

Our president is about to take a $4 million dollar vacation with the family, and that’s in addition to the millions spent by taxpayers to transport him around the country during his first term, much of which ended up being nothing more than one long campaign.

Air Force One isn’t cheap—The Hawaii Reporter made mention of the costs in an article about Obama’s annual junket to Hawaii:

“A Congressional Research Service report released in May 2012 said the plane typically used by the President, a Boeing 747, costs $179,750 per hour to operate. The U.S. Air Force has listed the cost of travel as high as $181,757 per flight hour.”

That vacation will be followed by the inauguration party. Estimated tab for that deal is $115 million.

If you really want to see the level of thievery being committed by those you elect, check out Citizens Against Government Waste. From air strips in small communities to the Dept. of Agriculture’s corporate welfare program benefiting mega-corporations, taxpayers are routinely fleeced.

Neo-liberals have grown government to a level that so far exceeds  legal boundaries, it’s time for a serious wakeup call. Obama’s targeting of a small percentage of taxpayers is highly questionable.

What rights does government have to confiscate unreasonable amounts of  your money? Does government have the right to take from a very small economic minority to benefit corporate and social welfare cronies? Does government have the right to deny you rights to the property you worked for and earned?

It seems to me some smart young attorney would see potential in the 4th and 9th amendments. The so-called ‘progressive’ tax system is actually at present an immoral enterprise that punishes success and defrauds the people it is supposed to serve.

Can a class action lawsuit be brought against a government whose own records show rampant fraud, lack of accountability and unacceptable stewardship?

The president apparently has decided he has the power to tax. However, the 4th and 9th amendments place limits on the federal government. Is a tax hike amidst lack of accountability with federal funds an "unreasonable...seizure"?

If the Constitution is no longer the law of the land, well, the conclusion is obvious. In the absence of constitutional validity, there is no legal document binding the states together in the Republic, and that is the most troublesome aspect of routinely ignoring the document that is the foundation for the Republic.

If you think the argument sounds crazy, think again. Crazy describes what the leadership of this country is doing on a daily basis.
