Democrats, Obama and Reid refuse to cooperate with Boehner as debt increases

Democrats' obstruction suggests the party is not concerned about U.S. debt. (Screen snip: National Debt Clock)Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has the toughest job in the nation right now. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid appears uninterested in compromise on a money plan for the nation. Reid told media Boehner’s latest proposal wouldn’t pass the Senate although Boehner has basically put forth a plan formerly backed by Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)

President Barack Obama still wants more from the group of earners he targeted during his multi-year campaign for reelection.

Meanwhile, in countries where excessive taxes are levied, the wealthy are moving their money to friendlier shores.

Neither Reid nor Obama seem to be concerned about record U.S. debt and numerous myths float around the Internet claiming Obama isn’t the big spender he really is.

Some leftwing sites even claim Obama spends less than his predecessor. While everyone can use a good laugh now and then, the neoliberals omit the outrageous cost of Obama’s health tax bill, ObamaCare. The president got between 15-20 new taxes out of that backroom legislation although Dems have rushed to help repeal several provisions already.

The latest proposal Boehner offered Democrats, tax hikes on those reporting $1 million or more in income, drew sneers and rejection from the party of Tax and Spend.

That proposal, said CNBC, was similar to a plan put forth by Pelosi (D-Calif.) in May.

There’s the chance many who have any real wealth will move their money to tax-friendlier countries. That would actually benefit Democrats who probably would continue to focus on taxing producers in the upper middle class to expand a welfare dependent class with the overall goal of a fully socialist America in the future. Dems would also likely be receptive to distributing more wealth abroad, an agenda item on any good socialist’s “do-list.”

Domestically, Dems are closer to a permanent majority of welfare dependents.

If that sounds like a conspiracy theory to you, spend some time reading at Thomas.gov or the loc.gov or just listen to a speech by a Democrat.

If tax rates are hiked but the overall tax code isn’t reformed, the truly wealthy will see little change. Obama and Reid should know that and perhaps that is their intent.

Reid and Obama have an agenda that will not benefit American workers or producers. We will become an even weaker country as they and their party continue to rule rather than govern.

Here’s sobering information from the U.S. National Debt Clock website:

The estimated population of the United States is $ 314,079,726, so each citizen's share of this debt is $52,081.07.

Don’t count on alphabet TV networks and legacy media to put U.S. debt in perspective. Democrats largely control both.
