No one in her right mind expects MSNBC’s Chuck Todd to say good things about Republicans. However, Todd recently stooped to a new low—as low as what your kitty buries in the litter box or yard—with a comment he made about Republicans.
The Weekly Standard reported Todd’s remarks:
'You know, with this Republican, with the way politics of Washington are today, there'd still be slavery. Lincoln wouldn't have been able to navigate the polarization between the media between this--' It was an interesting and depressing observation from this very smart White House aide."
I’d say it’s more likely that with this Democrat Party there’d still be slavery—after all this is the same Dem Party we’ve had forever. You can really have some fun if you read the party’s official “history” on their website. Talk about a scrub job—I wish there was a household cleaner that effective.
Thing is, black people vote Democrat in overwhelming numbers. Countless social programs have been established since one-time alleged racist, the Democrat president Lyndon B. Johnson, came up with his budget-breaking ‘Great Society’ spending spree. Otherwise, LBJ was an efficient killing machine of all races, courtesy of his war policy.
What has that Democrat alliance produced for black people? Decimated communities, high unemployment (particularly for males) and a political philosophy that emphasizes apart-ness. Unlimited abortion, however, has enabled Dems to control population numbers, not just for blacks but for whites as well. Ah, well, the climate wonks are happy about reducing numbers of the human population while species of fungi, fish and some lucky owls are protected.
That’s not all—the dads have left the homefront in droves. USA Today cited familiar figures:
About 80% of first children born to black women were outside of marriage; 18% of these women were cohabiting. Among Hispanics, 53% of first children were born outside of marriage, and 30% of the women were cohabiting. Among white women, 34% of first children were born outside of marriage, 20% to cohabiters. Among Asians, 13% of first children were born outside of marriage; 7% of women were cohabiting.
The surest path to poverty is trying to raise a child without a mate. Unfortunately the Democrat Party’s hostility to marriage and the nuclear family has impacted child-rearing in general. Every time Democrats criticize President George W. Bush’s tax cuts, they omit something Bush 43 did for us married couples—he rescinded the marriage tax. That’s right—when those cuts expire, married couples will pay a “tax” that government wonks traditionally referred to as the “marriage penalty.”
Aside from defaming the entire Republican Party on false grounds, Todd gave us an idea of his intellectual ability. He said that observation about slavery came “from this very smart White House aide.”
Obviously, Chuck Todd wouldn’t know ‘smart’ if it slapped him upside his foolish head. Todd heads up NBC News.
Do I need to tell you again to refrain from watching this network or patronizing the network’s sponsors?
By the way, Todd is married to a Democrat strategist. That’s a handy deal for her—a direct conduit to an Alphabet News network.
President Barack Obama’s attorney general Eric Holder said the U.S. is a “nation of cowards” when it comes to talking about race. Personally, I think we’re a “nation of cowards” when it comes to telling the truth about the Democrat Party—why don’t we start with a few key figures like the late Sen. Robert Byrd (former Klansman) and Al Gore’s daddy?
Or alternatively, recall that Democrats gained a big hold in the South because of Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s position on integration. If you’re a Southern Democrat, go read some history in the archives at your library, just to put your party in perspective.
Newsmax author Diane Alden gave us an idea of just how eagerly Dems blocked civil rights:
In the 26 major civil rights votes after 1933, a majority of Democrats opposed civil rights legislation in over 80 percent of the votes. By contrast, the Republican majority favored civil rights in over 96 percent of the votes.
