In a recent speech U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder aimed to fire up cultural activist group La Raza, alleging threats to their civil rights. Holder doesn’t believe you should have to show a photo ID to vote, and he’s gone after states that have tried to make sure only legal votes are cast.
Holder is catering to political niche groups because Democrats are worried about turnout after hope and change imploded during President Barack Obama’s first term in office.
As Holder preached to the La Raza choir, document fraud and corruption ran rampant through the federal government, and perpetrators in a fake driver’s license ring were being sought in five states.
In many states, if you have a driver’s license and a utility bill, you can vote.
We all know if the federal government did the job Congress handed it in 1986 with the amnesty bill, we wouldn’t be having this problem today. The borders remained open despite a legal mandate to secure them.
Holder chooses not to go after sanctuary cities, leaving the U.S. taxpayer holding the tab for healthcare, food stamps and other entitlements, education and law enforcement costs.
At times, it feels like Mexico is running the U.S.
In recent days, the government has published news releases that suggest Holder may be unaware of the crime his administration’s policies help enable. Here are a few recent headers from the U.S. Customs and Enforcement Agency:
- 30 suspects are being sought in 5 states where illegal driver’s license rings operated; the release said suspects will be charged with “conspiracy to transfer false identification documents and to transport illegal aliens; producing and transferring false identification documents; and, transporting illegal aliens…” (6-21-2012)
- “A former special agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) was sentenced 30 months in federal prison following a multi-agency investigation that revealed she illegally accessed, stole and transferred sensitive U.S. government documents to unauthorized individuals and obstructed HSI investigations.” (July 2, 2012)
- Two former Department of Defense employees pleaded guilty in federal court Monday to attempting to illegally obtain and illegally obtaining U.S. citizenship…(July 3, 2012)
- In March, a couple was busted as part of a driver’s license mill in Florida. Florida is a swing state, in case you didn’t know. The couple pled guilty to various charges, including “creation and transfer of false identification documents, and the altering and transferring of foreign passports.”
There’s an abundance of releases like these, all posted on the ICE website. President Barack Obama's policy encourages such behavior in my opinion. Check out the light sentences all those criminals got if you read the releases.
In April, investigative reporter James O’Keefe showed how easy it is for anyone to vote. O’Keefe set up a sting using an undercover operative to pose as Holder. The poll worker was willing to let the imposter vote using the registration for the U.S. Attorney General.
