Sen. Murray pushes ‘fair share’ propaganda, threatens Main St. on taxes

(Screen snip from YouTube video)One of the most liberal members of the U.S. Senate is threatening the equivalent of a hostage situation—either Republicans cave to tax hikes or Democrats will launch ‘taxmageddon.’
Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.), elected to office in 1992 courtesy of Leftist group Emily’s List, is the latest Democrat to go high profile on demanding those she calls “the rich” pay their “fair share” of taxes.
The “fair share” concept is pure propaganda. The term is even used by public schools to encourage parents to pay a portion of costs for enrichment programs.
A tax hike is the last thing we need right now. Democrats have expanded the role of the federal government in historic ways—manipulating the energy sector (and passing on higher costs to us), socializing U.S. healthcare (20 taxes and costlier premiums for us), appointing a consumer bureau chieftain whose powers are unprecedented because even the president can’t fire him.
Now, despite record levels of fraud in numerous government spending programs and despite the need to downsize a government that has defied legal limitations set forth in the U.S. Constitution, Murray and her fellow looters want more tax hikes.
When Dems get their tax hikes, the surplus “revenue” doesn’t go to government reform. They just spend more.
Instead, President Barack Obama and his Dems have spent hundreds of billions on failing solar energy companies, foreign car manufacturers, expansion of food stamps among immigrants who speak one language (Spanish) and bailouts for car companies to favor unions. Those are but a few of the scandals media have downplayed to protect Democrats.
Murray actually served on what Obama called the “Super Committee.” It should’ve been called the “Blooper Committee” because they spent money and time and came up with not a single recommendation Obama adopted.
Murray is a rank and file Democrat. Tax and Spend. Democrats already got tax hikes—the 20 tax increases in ObamaCare and the new tax on roll-your-own cigarette mom and pop shops are examples. Taxes on medical devices (like wheelchairs) and tanning salons (Nanny government) in addition to federal taxes we already pay on gasoline, utility bills, cell phone bills, cable TV bills.
Dems should add the term ‘Government Greed’ to their party banner.
Murray’s class warfare act will play well to those who expect the government to support them from cradle to grave. For the rest of us, her class warfare is an insult to our wallets.
Murray is a perfect example of why any sane voter will opt for any candidate BUT a Democrat in November.
The only platform Dems are running on is tax hikes. Doesn’t sound so “smart” to me.
