Reid and his Democrats “sullied” faith of every American

Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) slammed GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney on the basis of his faith on Tuesday.

In a conference call with media, Reid, among other things, said Romney had “sullied” his faith.

Reid had already showed complete disrespect to nearly half the country and his own colleagues by assaulting Romney on the floor of the U.S. Senate.

Fact is, Reid and his Democrats have “sullied” the faith of every American. How?

When President Barack Obama, Reid and other Dems decided to force Catholic and other religious institutions to subsidize birth control and other procedures in conflict with the tenets of their faith, these Dems shredded the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Media helped Democrats cover up the attack on freedom, somehow managing to convince Americans the argument was about birth control. It wasn’t—it was about the Constitution. As a result, freedom is imperiled for 100 percent of Americans whether they realize it or not.

As Senate Majority Leader, Reid is supposed to set a standard for respect.

Instead, this ageing partisan turned the Senate floor into a stump and blatantly insulted the GOP presidential nominee by inappropriately criticizing his faith.

Reid should step down. He is no leader. He is a rabid partisan desperate to keep a grip on the power he and his colleagues have abused on a level few of us have seen in our lifetimes.

I wonder if Reid’s faith addresses the issue of lying. Apparently, for him, that’s irrelevant.

If Democrats are smart, they'll leave faith out of the debate. Otherwise, old dogs from 2008 might rise up again and new scrutiny applied to the president's worship preferences that included a preacher who cursed America--all of it.
