Samuel L. Jackson stumps for Obama with strange little girl

Celebs sometimes tank their brands when they go activist, especially if they pick a candidate in a heated race for the U.S. presidency. Sometimes the celeb is so off the charts with messaging—Cher comes to mind—you pretty much dismiss them forever.

Samuel L. Jackson is fortunate that his brand rises above his rhetoric because the ad he stars in on behalf of President Barack Obama falls flat as a tortilla.

Almost every person in the video is white. Obviously Obama is worried about the “white” vote—Democrats always worry about one color or another, having divided the country by skin color since the early days of their party. That is a tradition for the party whose symbol is appropriately a donkey.

The ad relies on fear—Romney is the big bad guy in the night who’s going to come and rob you. Hide that ObamaPhone!

The star of  Jackson’s ad is a young white girl and here’s where the poet strained credibility that ultimately collapses completely—“She read his platform and it scared her to death.”

If you got a kid that young reading political platforms, you either have a natural born political genius or one very strange kid. I'd recommend a good therapist.

Later in the film, an older couple are about to have sex, and in pops Jackson who just happened to be out knocking on bedroom doors for the Democrats.

Yeah.

Fear—that’s all this administration has because Democrats have failed the economy, foreign policy and the Constitution (ObamaCare Tax Bill, Amnesty without Congress, droning American citizens who have been charged with no crime and/or detaining them without benefit of charges or trial).

Meanwhile, Jackson might go read his own guy’s plans for Medicare cuts to current seniors—more than $716 billion. Oh, that’s right, Obama hasn’t given specifics yet. Even Politico had to acknowledge Obama has some explaining to do with his own take on Medicare.

This ad, like others, bends the truth like a giant pretzel.

You better wake the **** up for sure—if Obama’s reelected, it’s likely our incomes will continue to drop. After all, under this president, one study found household income has dropped by 8.2 percent since he took office.

The girl in the Obama video made me think of ‘Creepy Little White Girl.’
