Anti-Obama bloggers confused over Google shutdown; no explanation given
Monday, July 7, 2008 at 6:39PM Pretty soon you'll be reading about anti-Obama bloggers having their Blogger-hosted sites shut down by Google (Blogger's owner). You may not read about this in mainstream media. You may have to look for stories about this at conservative sites. Considering the circumstances, you may not even be able to find out about this by doing a search, unless you use Yahoo or another search engine. There were about 7 blogs affected, and some are theorizing Obama fans just hit the little flag on each Blogger-hosted blog, sending a command for human review. But there's also a lot of theorizing going on, even at sites like Accuracy in Media, about whether Google froze the sites because of sympathy for the senator from Illinois. Frankly, I don't think that's very likely simply because of the complications and time involved. I blogged about the anti-Obama shutdown at Red State today. What do you think?
