Biggest Hypocrite of the Week: Rep. Charles Rangel

The US Report awards the 2nd 'Biggest US Hypocrite of the Week' award to Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) Like several high profile Obama appointees including the Secretary of the Treasury, Rangel has tax problems. Remember when Rep. Nancy Pelosi promised us a more honorable Congress after Democrats regained control almost 3 years ago? She was our inaugural hypocrite of the week.

Sometimes it takes a comic to put things in perspective. Jay Leno hits the nail on the head for BHW #2 Rangel.

The Wall Street Journal analyzes Rangel's tax problems. Among them: the chair of the Ways and Means Committee apparently overlooked half his net worth. And yep, that's the committee responsible for writing tax regulations.
