Every Democrat appearing on a talk show drones about the serious problems confronting the nation, invoking the Great Depression at every turn—the economy, the war, healthcare, education. So what are your representatives in Washington doing? They’re focusing on an investigation of the Bush administration. Looks like all those promises President-Elect Barack Obama made about “reaching across the aisle” aren’t going to be kept. And despite questionable behavior by Democrats like Sen. Charles Schumer, Sen. Chris Dodd, Rep. Barney Frank, Rep. Robert Wexler, Rep. Charles Rangel, Rep. Tim Mahoney, Rep. William Jefferson and others, the party won’t be investigating its own. As a matter of fact, almost all of those listed will keep their committee assignments. Mahoney won’t. Florida GOP candidate Tom Rooney won the District 16 seat Mahoney lucked into. But the Democrats have problems of their own both past and present.
I have a great idea. Why don’t we do an investigation of the Clinton administration while we’re at it? Although Democrats and allied media have succeeded in portraying the DNC as a Puritan Party, those of us familiar with politics and history know better. The late Barbara Olson did a great job analyzing suspect activities by the Clinton Administration in her book ‘The Final Days.’ Furthermore, we still don't know what Sandy Berger stole from the National Archives, but many of us wonder if he took documents related to intelligence or warnings about 9/11. Berger will be able to get a security clearance again. I don ot believe Berger's claims he accounted for all the documents, but that's just my personal opinion based on the official government report. Go figure.
I correctly predicted this would be a very partisan administration because Obama cannot control Rep. Nancy Pelosi or Sen. Harry Reid or any of the other extreme liberals who run the Democratic Party right now. I sincerely hope there is a Republican law firm out there who might assist with investigating the Democratic leaders in Congress. There’s where the real light should shine. It took the Democratic-led Congress only two years to come close to tanking the country courtesy of one of the worst Democratic entitlement ideas of all time—the Community Reinvestment Act. Pelosi and Reid should clean their own house. There’s plenty of dust in those corners and it's been there for years. Maybe Pelosi could sweep with her broom instead of riding it.
