Jim Cramer takes on White House; latest casualty in pundit wars

Jim Cramer wrote, "[I] was on my hackles when I heard White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs' answer to a question about my pointed criticism of the president on multiple venues, including the Today Show." The latest casualty in the White House pundit wars, Jim Cramer, has responded to White House Press secretary Robert Gibbs’ veiled criticism and to liberal comics’ rants. His column is posted at Main Street and he sounds a bit flabbergasted at the fact he’s been defended by the likes of Rush Limbaugh, conservative talk icon who has also been verbally assaulted by numerous personalities and politicos on the left. What are we to make of all this?
I could say I told you so, but I’m getting tired of doing that. Just read the columns I wrote during the campaign season. Here’s the new old deal.
At the moment we have a president who is doing exactly what he promised—redistributing the wealth, and it looks like he’s planning on a global approach. Another victim of collectivist p.r., none other than Joe the Plumber, brought this to light by accident during the campaign.
Joe made the mistake of asking a question of then candidate Barack Obama who happened to be officially strolling (media in tow) through Joe’s neighborhood. Next thing you know alleged Dem sympathizers in Joe’s home state of Ohio are holding a meetup to talk about doing some up close and personal research on Joe. End result: Joe gets trashed. Leftie media only cares about individual rights when they belong to a fellow leftie.
Now Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit on Joe Wurzelbacher’s behalf. According to a Mar. 5 news release, the lawsuit alleges, “[t]hat officials of the State of Ohio violated Mr. Wurzelbacher's constitutional rights by illegally accessing confidential information from its official databases. The defendants are Helen Jones-Kelley, Fred Williams and Doug Thompson, the three highest ranking employees of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services at the time of the alleged transgression. (The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Eastern Division, in conjunction with Ohio attorney David R. Langdon.)”
Here’s the nasty part. The JW release continues, “[j]ust four days after Mr. Wurzelbacher questioned Obama, Jones-Kelley, Williams and Thompson held a meeting and specifically discussed ‘Joe the Plumber.’ Following the meeting the defendants authorized and instructed agency personnel to search confidential office databases to retrieve information about Mr. Wurzelbacher. All three defendants are believed to have been supporters of Obama's presidential campaign.”
The left favors ad hominem attacks any time someone disagrees with collectivist policy, and there’s massive control of establishment media in the same manner media was manipulated during President John F. Kennedy’s administration.
I’ve often remarked the film industry loves to make right wing conspiracy movies. But it seems to me there’s far more fodder for left-wing conspiracy plots. Sidenote: in this crisis there is much opportunity for the handful of conservative filmmakers in the land.
Meanwhile if you really want to keep up with what’s going on in Democrat City, formerly known as Washington, D. C., just read Daily Kos. That, my friends (nod to Sen. John McCain), is the real leader of your new Democratic Party.
At last count, Cramer’s rebuttal had attracted approximately 2,000 comments from readers. Predictably, left-leaners re-attacked Cramer personally.
Will Chicken Little be next on the White House hit list?Who knows who’s next? I figure White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs may now turn his attention to an attack on Chicken Little. For that fictive creature, the sky didn’t fall. But for Americans, Chicken Little’s wildest prophecy appears to be coming true.
