Local Republican Leaders to Host Conservative Radio Program

Lenny Curry is chair of the Duval County Republican party.(Jacksonville, Fla.)—The Duval County Republican Party announced the launch of a local conservative radio talk show with the premiere set for Thursday, May 14th at 5 p.m. on ABC 1320-AM WBOB.

‘What’s the Buzz’ hosted by political insiders Cindy Graves and Lenny Curry will air every Thursday during drive time following the Glenn Beck Show and preceding Mark Levin on 1320. Curry, Chairman of the Duval County Republican Party and a local businessman, said the show will fill a significant void in the market and be targeted at local Republicans who want to know how statewide and national politics affect the First Coast.

"Duval County is always a political battleground both in the Primary and General election cycles. Our savvy voters are engaged and eager for an opportunity to voice their opinions and to become more informed on the issues, said Curry. "This show will be a big success."

CCindy Graves is the state GOP committeewoman.o-host Cindy Graves was elected by Republican voters in 2008 to serve as Duval's Republican State Committeewoman. She is also the Vice President of the Florida Federation of Republican Women, the largest grassroots organization in the state. Graves brings insider knowledge from around the state and experience as a grassroots leader in the last 16 back-to-back local elections.

According to a DCRP spokesman, upcoming shows will address a wide range of topical matters—from candidates running for senator and governor to discussions about the long-running debate over Martin Luther King, Jr.’s political party inclinations.

Duval County is also home to the Republican Minority Headquarters, touted by Republican leaders as a model for the nation.

Listeners can also hear favorite programs online at WBOB.

With a number of branded candidates in the race for Sen. Mel Martinez’s soon-to-be-vacant seat and federal legislation, that if passed, will affect every community in the nation, ‘What’s the Buzz’ should draw a sizable audience and will have no problem finding topics for discussion.

Grassroots are what is going to help put him in office. He is the real thing and real people regognize that.
