Obama energy firewall: Atlantic, Pacific and parts of Arctic off-limits for US producers

This photograph from the Library of Congress Digital Collection is dated 1944; it was produced by the Office of War Information.. The caption said, “America's petroleum industries pour out fuel and lubricants for the United Nations.” At that point in America’s history, the enviro-lobby did not have absolute control over America’s natural resources. The Independent Petroleum Association of America is not happy with President Barack Obama’s Proposed 5-year Program for Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Oil and Natural Gas leasing for 2012-2017.

IPAA sent a letter to the 5-year Program Manager at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management.

Based on the letter, it’s evident the Obama Administration still has offshore drilling on de facto lockdown. IPAA said the administration “should not leave the entire Atlantic and Pacific Coasts and portions of the Arctic off-limits to new oil and gas production and job creation.”

Obama even said no to one US state eager to put people back to work.

The Democrat candidate never talks about it. (Article continues below video)

The US Government Accountability Office issued a report in early October with a shocking conclusion: The Obama administration's Office of Science and Technology broke the law.

Liberal media didn’t exactly push this story, but the transgression was serious and it was plain as the nose on President Barack Obama’s face.

Gas price uptick a result of mainly Democrat federal policy

President Barack Obama (D) is not the first president to face criticism when American families hold a thinner wallet after filling up the tank. I still have memories dating to former President Jimmy Carter’s administration when prices went up and tempers as well—as a young adult I witnessed actual fights at gas pumps when someone tried to cut in line because the oil supply was disrupted.

Vitter wants answers on Brazil drilling loan; Paul wanted answers too

Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) said President Barack Obama's support for Petrobras oil drilling is "ridiculous."Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) wants answers from the US taxpayer supported Export-Import bank about a $2 billion loan to Brazil for offshore drilling. Vitter’s home state is suffering under a moratorium imposed by President Barack Obama. Vitter said Louisianians “are frustrated” and he wants to know “why permitting domestically is nearly stalled…”

Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) had questions about ExIM—nine years ago when he asked Congress to reject the reauthorization of ExIm for “economic, constitutional and moral reasons.”
