GOP fails to inform public about Obama’s deception on taxes

President Barack Obama has obsessed about hiking taxes on upper middle class U.S. households with $250,000 in income. Obama places this range alongside the truly wealthy who make millions or billions.

Ironically, in the last year Democrats had control of the White House, Senate and House of Representatives, tax rates went up for everyone. Everyone, that is, except one percent of filers.

Neal Boortz on re-electing Obama

Boortz was on Fox News Friday, Asked about re-electing President Barack Obama, the Libertarian pundit said, “If people re-elect Obama, it’d be like strapping on an economic suicide vest and giving the detonator to your ex-wife.”

Liberals still pushing class warfare

Liberals appear to be obsessed with the Joneses. Not keeping up with them—gouging them. Gallup announced 71 percent of Democrats are in favor of redistributing wealth by taxing the rich despite the fact their party is headed by some of the richest members of Congress and it’s funded by some of the world’s richest (mostly) men.

Liberals push war on women too

The Democrats’ national Party chair is confused over which party’s policies are anti-woman (anti-family too).

In Texas, illegal kills police officer

Texas media apparently still i.d. foreign nationals who commit crimes. The federal government calls people like Johoan Rodriguez illegal aliens. Whatever he is, he got a free US education and worked a construction job (there must be no American men in the area willing to work in construction, right?). Rodriguez faces a slew of charges after he [allegedly] drove through a police barricade and killed a Houston police officer. A blogger at Red State said Democrats in the legislature killed a bill banning sanctuary cities. The Obama administration tolerates that overturn of federal law.  The police officer left behind a pregnant wife and two children. Rodriguez, by the way had a substantial record and had been deported several times.

Cato notes tie between Obama, costliest fashion designer

Much of Libertarian philosophy is dear to my heart, and I like to read at the Cato Institute website. A light-hearted blog post on Saturday was particularly entertaining.

That post has to do with the late fashion designer Bijan Pakzad and President Barack Obama, with a few other celebs thrown in for good measure.

What does Obama have to do with Pakzad whose product slogan was “the costliest menswear in the world”?

What price will we pay for Democrat-driven class warfare?

Updated on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 2:46PM by Registered CommenterKay B. Day, Editor

by Kay B. Day

Rep. Diane Watson [D] made inflammatory remarks recently as she held a “Healthcare Reform Town Hall” for her California constituents. Watson’s remarks are part of an ongoing Democratic Party narrative, wherein the government is Robin Hood and the people are eternal victims of the wealthy. In a ‘school-teacherly’ voice probably acquired during her years of work in the Los Angeles public school system, Watson claimed opponents of health care reform are attempting to destroy a president “who looks like me.” Watson is black. She bears no resemblance whatsoever to the president, and her comments suggest she is guilty of racial profiling.

But Watson didn’t stop there. She somehow segued to the Cuban healthcare system—it sounds as though she introduced the topic herself, asking if anyone said anything about it. And then she praised the Cuban dictator, summing up a bit of history in a most creative manner:

“The Cuban system—I want you to know you can think whatever you want to about Fidel Castro but he was one of the brightest leaders I have ever met—you know, the Cuban revolution that kicked out the wealthy—Che Guevarra did that—and then after they took over they went out among the population to find someone who could lead this new nation and they found…well, I’ll just leave it there…an attorney by the name of Fidel Castro.”

Watson might be reminded a number of her government cronies are “wealthy.” Last time I checked, Democrats took top honors as the wealthiest members of Congress.
