House hearings on Benghazi marked by partisan digs, confusion and bombshell

(Left to Right) LTC Andrew Wood, Eric Nordstrom, Charlene Lamb and Patrick Kennedy testified before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. [Photo from C-SPAN screen; The US Report]House Oversight and Reform committee chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) gaveled a hearing to order on Wednesday in an attempt to separate fact from spin about the security situation in Benghazi.

The attack on the U.S. Consulate was legally an attack on America, and 4 people including our ambassador were murdered. The fact that it came on the anniversary of Sept. 11 raised flags about security protocol.

At one point in the testimony, there was a bombshell disclosing a security threat most Americans didn't know about.

House Republicans release video showing depth of Democrat propaganda

House Republicans have issued a video showing the depth of Democrat propaganda pitching issues like the Stimulus bill that is by most accounts a miserable failure. California congressman Darrell Issa (R) issued a report on Monday. The report addresses propaganda used to pitch issues like healthcare, education and even Justice Dept. matters.

Issa is the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

In the report analyzing Obama's public relations and propaganda initiatives, Issa said, "Under one-party rule in 2009, the White House used the machinery of the Obama campaign to tout the President’s agenda through inappropriate and sometimes unlawful public relations and propaganda initiatives."

In Monday's column about Issa's propaganda report I mentioned the new Federal Trade Commission guidelines from the Obama administration. Democrats appear to have infracted their own guidelines, but that probably won't surprise many. The US Report received this video Tuesday morning. It illustrates how this Congress (who increased p.r. spending) and administration promote their candidates with taxpayer money and money borrowed from US Sugar Daddy China. Obviously the depth of propaganda is deeper than we realized.

ACORN gave 'significantly less' in return says OGR committee

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has issued a second report about ACORN. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is ranking GOP member of the committee. The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has released a new report about ACORN and Service Employees International Union.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), ranking Republican member of the committee, said, “Perceptions that ACORN is a charitable organization are simply wrong and part of ACORN’s efforts to deceive the American people.”

Issa added. “ACORN is a political machine that uses a complex corporate web, connections to the SEIU, and powerful political allies to break laws in pursuit of a partisan agenda.  This report shines more disinfecting sunlight on ACORN’s secretive methods of abusing taxpayer funds and charitable donations.” The report is titled, ‘Follow the Money: ACORN, SEIU and their Political Allies.’
