Sex scandal ahead: ICE agent says he's targeted "because of gender"

Photo of Napolitano: Snip from YouTube video, The Savage NationDept. of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano—her detractors coined the nickname “J-No”—was one of President Barack Obama’s most questionable appointments. She had no experience in law enforcement, the military or for that matter, homeland security. Napolitano is a lawyer who served as governor of Arizona.

Now a scandal is brewing because of a lawsuit.

This isn’t just any lawsuit—there’s a backstory involving allegations about sex, humiliation and gender bias.

DHS chief’s nod to climate change and wildfires begs question: Did she read GAO report?

Helicopters are used for fire suppression by the U.S. Forest Service. [Photo: U.S. Forest Service News Release]Dept. of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano linked climate change to the Colorado wildfires, according to The Hill:

“You have to look at climate change over a period of years, not just one summer,” Napolitano said. “You could always have one abnormal summer. But when you see one after another after another then you can see, yeah, there’s a pattern here.”

Did Napolitano read the U.S. Government Accountability Office report on wildfires? After all, she was govenor of Arizona, so you'd think that report would catch her eye.

DHS terrorism report shows more damage from Left than Right

FBI Most Wanted Domestic Terrorists are mostly aligned with the Left. None are rightwingers. (Photo: FBI)Under the administration of President Barack Obama, the Dept. of Homeland Security created an impression that the biggest threats to national security come from the Right. In 2009 shortly after Obama took office, DHS issued a report titled “Rightwing Extremism.” The report stirred up a lot of controversy because just about anyone who didn’t like big government would be classified as an extremist. This is the way the Left categorizes supporters of Tea Party principles.

Recently Obama’s DHS chief Janet Napolitano came up with the ‘See Something, Say Something’ campaign. DHS videos showed suspicious people wearing hoodies—they were mostly white people.

A terrorism report funded by U.S. taxpayers turned up some information that flies in the face of Obama's politics. Historically, the Left has done far more damage than the Right.

Big media omits context in attacks on Gov. Scott over voter roll checks

Florida Gov. Rick Scott hasn’t backed down on his efforts to make sure Florida’s voter registration lists are accurate. Media are covering the duel between Scott and the feds, but as usual, Big Media leaves a lot of the context out of a few critical claims about Scott.

The US Report decided to provide some of that context:

Amid furor over voter ID, RPOF statement reveals bombshell about DHS

Florida precinct parking lot on past voting day. Obviously, there is no deluge. Early vote days can easily be consolidated without impacting anyone, as Florida's voter reforms are implemented. (Photo: The US Report)As news of a judge’s decision about Florida’s voting reforms reached the Sunshine State, Republican women and the state party chair issued a rapid response.

Ironically, a statement from RPOF chair Lenny Curry contained a bombshell, and it puts President Barack Obama’s Dept. of Homeland Security in an even worse light.

With Secret Service scandals, where does the buck stop?

Historic street in Cartagena, Colombia. (Photo: CIA World Fact Book)The Sunday talk shows predictably simmered with discussions of the Secret Service scandal in Cartagena (Colombia). The Left downplays any responsibility for the president and some on the Right hold Obama accountable because after all, he’s the chief and he hasn’t been shy about claiming executive power when it suits him.

Fact is, Obama should look to his Dept. of Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano for accountability, because that’s the chain of command since the Service is part of DHS.

There’s more to this story than most pundits and politicians are admitting.
