Showbiz politics: Trump, Romney, Obama and Jesus

Romney declined to participate in a debate Donald Trump planned to moderate. (Screen snip from CNN video)Rumors hit Twitter ahead of The Donald’s endorsement of Mitt Romney—the first messages I saw said Trump would endorse Newt Gingrich. I found that hard to believe—the two just don’t go together. That was just my gut reaction.

Four possible candidates’ photos are on the first page. They are all former governors: Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Tim Pawlenty and Mike Huckabee.

Other potential candidates like Congressman Ron Paul, former speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and Donald Trump are mentioned in the article; photos of those potentials and others appear at the end of the article.

Oddly Herman Cain is not included. Schoen mentions Sen. Marco Rubio as a possible vice president.

Cain is very interesting because he has held positions at long-standing US companies—he has actually created private sector jobs. Cain has stumped around the country and garnered a lot of praise (and straw poll positives) from grassroots groups

Stone says ‘unabashedly pro-American’ Trump should run for president

Okay, I’ll admit it. I like the sound of the phrase “unabashedly pro-American.” Considering the current administration’s attitude towards the U.S., the phrase certainly resonates. That description Roger Stone offered for Donald Trump has been validated whenever Trump has spoken publicly. Stone said Trump should run for president.
