Wilson’s ‘You Lie’ accusation proves true, as predicted
Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 3:21PM In 2009 President Barack Obama told Americans his healthcare bll would not pay for illegal aliens' care. Rep. Joe Wilson said, "You lie." Wilson was right. (Photo from House of Representatives, US Government]Lately I’ve been saying I told you so more than I ever thought possible. Here’s another one. The US Dept. of Health and Human Services has announced more than $8 million in grants to provide medical care for migrant and seasonal farm workers.
What did HHS leave out of their release? Foreign nationals who are in the country illegally will also get free care because, just as I explained after reading the unconstitutional Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in 2009, I told you care would be given based on self-reportage.
So if I’m a drug dealer in the U.S. illegally, or a human trafficker, I can go for care for my aches and pains, and I will receive it. No one will ask me about my status.
As a government spokesman explained to CNS News: “[G]rant recipients will not check the immigration status of people seeking services.” Furthermore, the grant recipients are required to provide services to all residents in their area.
Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) was telling the truth when he said, “You lie,” during President Barack Obama’s speech in 2009.
