John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Tuesday in calling for the resignations of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and the Director of the White House National Economic Council Larry Summers.
Both Republicans echo earlier calls from experts.

Minority Whip Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) talks about 'You Cut.'House GOP leader John Boehner (Ohio) released an ‘Irony Alert’ on Tuesday, chastising Democrats for refusing to come up with a budget but increasing federal spending as though money grows on imaginary trees.
Noting that the White House budget director was speaking to the Center for American Progress (left of center group) for the ‘Doing What Works’ project, Boehner said, “Considering the Administration’s disastrous record on spending, the topic and forum could not be more laughable.”
