DHS terrorism report shows more damage from Left than Right

FBI Most Wanted Domestic Terrorists are mostly aligned with the Left. None are rightwingers. (Photo: FBI)Under the administration of President Barack Obama, the Dept. of Homeland Security created an impression that the biggest threats to national security come from the Right. In 2009 shortly after Obama took office, DHS issued a report titled “Rightwing Extremism.” The report stirred up a lot of controversy because just about anyone who didn’t like big government would be classified as an extremist. This is the way the Left categorizes supporters of Tea Party principles.

Recently Obama’s DHS chief Janet Napolitano came up with the ‘See Something, Say Something’ campaign. DHS videos showed suspicious people wearing hoodies—they were mostly white people.

A terrorism report funded by U.S. taxpayers turned up some information that flies in the face of Obama's politics. Historically, the Left has done far more damage than the Right.

Correcting a leftwing lie about The US Report

I rarely respond to frivolous comments about The US Report. I see such comments on message boards and I receive them in emails. But a comment I found today by backtracking referrers so infuriated me I felt it necessary to register at the forum where it appeared so that I could set the record straight.

Leftwingers’ new target: your air-conditioning

Author Stan Cox got what amounts to a free ad in The Washington Post* on Sunday—he penned an essay based on his book ‘Losing Our Cool: Uncomfortable Truths About Our Air-Conditioned World.’ I’ve truncated the title because it’s ridiculously long. Cox should’ve just called it the ‘Ban Air Conditioning’ book. I’m basing that on what he said in the essay—I don’t plan to read his book.

Mexico’s puzzling position on immigration

By Kay B. Day

Headlines touting Mexico President Felipe Calderon’s response to Arizona’s new state immigration law emphasize the sensational. Calderon is said to ‘slam’, ‘blast’ and ‘condemn’ the law borne of the quagmire created by the federal government’s refusal to secure the border between the US and Mexico.

Leftwingers target FreedomWorks with hate speech

by Kay B. Day

I've often said the aim of the far left is to silence conservative voices. At the moment, far lefties are targeting FreedomWorks after an incident some are calling 'GeicoGate.' Geico fired an announcer after he allegedly left a vile voice mail message at the FreedomWorks offices. The stimulus for the announcer's message was FreedomWorks' support of the Tea Party grassroots endeavor. What came after is pretty despicable.

Leftwingers want Erickson jailed as Kos founder’s book heads for publication

And that’s just the tip of the political iceberg

Commentary by Kay B. Day

Almost nothing the retrogressives who incorrectly call themselves progressives do surprises me anymore, but the latest takes the political cake. Erick Erickson  at Red State has long been the bane of leftwingers. Now they want to put Erickson in jail. Why? Because he published information about Massachusetts senatorial wannabe Martha Coakley’s union-organized phone banks. He pointed out in his post Coakley published the same information, but she included more details.

You think Kossites want to lock Coakley up too?

That’s just the tip of the political iceberg.

GOP rebrands; CNN article inspires leftwing extremist rage

The GOP, alternatively called 'The Gallant Old Party' or the 'Grand Old Party,' is the party of Abraham Lincoln. According to historian Diane Alden,in the 26 major civil rights votes after 1933, a majority of Democrats opposed civil rights legislation in over 80 percent of the votes. By contrast, the Republican majority favored civil rights in over 96 percent of the votes. [Photo N. Illinois University] After receiving a press release about the National Council for a New America, I happened across an article about the NCNA’s conversations with the American people, with the first to be held in Arlington, Va., on Saturday at the popular restaurant Pie-tanza. The CNN article was benign, but quite a few comments weren’t. Here’s an example posted under the moniker, ‘Sonya’: “Hmmm, rebranding? How do you rebrand a bunch of self-centered, out-of-touch, dumb obstructionists? Personally, I'd be happy if they'd all drop out of sight forever and open the door for a new opposition party. We all know their faces and we're all sick and tired of them. Rove, Limbaugh, Cheney, Bush, Hannity and.FIX NEWS!!! The list goes on and on and THEY ALL MAKE ME SICK!”

If you read The US Report, you know how much I love politics and history. So especially for Sonya, I’d like to fill her in on a few matters wherein the Democratic Party rebranded at various times:
