Democrats preen on immigration, cover up Obama’s previous obstruction in Senate
Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 12:06PM Let’s be real. The immigration debate is a political debate we’ve had before. Many times.
President Ronald Reagan got taken in by Democrats in his day, agreeing to the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 because he actually believed Democrats when they agreed to secure the border. Didn’t happen. The end result was an influx of family members, largely from south of the border, who were poor in their own country and looking to upgrade their lifestyles in the U.S. because we offer generous welfare programs to our citizens.
When I see an influx of Eastern Europeans who are largely educated, I’ll believe Democrats are acting for the common good. At present, we, the American taxpayers, are basically Mexico’s largest charity.
