Quinnipiac shows Mitt leads, but supporters more committed to Newt

Could anything be crazier than the Florida GOP Presidential Primary? In a single week, we’ve seen supporters of Gov. Mitt Romney showing up at events for former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and the Romney campaign saying no on a takedown notice sent by NBC news regarding an ad.

The Romney camp doesn’t have to worry about any fines they might have to pay; it’s a given the governor has the campaign bucks. The controversial ad, one of an avalanche of attack ads on Gingrich, shows the Speaker when he was reprimanded by Congress. The ad of course doesn't show the announcements from media when Gingrich was cleared.

A new Quinnipiac poll shows Romney leading Gingrich. There’s an intriguing item in the poll, however, that shows the race is still fluid.

Obama’s alleged ‘surge’ on Gallup deserves closer look

Judging by the Politico headline, you’d think President Barack Obama’s popularity is booming. The website ran the following header on Monday: Gallup: Obama approval surges.

Politico favors drama when it comes to Obama approval ratings. You can see by the original headline that is part of the URL structure that the writer first declared Obama’s approval ‘roars back.’ Apparently ‘surges' provided a more positive outlook. If someone’s approval ‘roared back,’ that would suggest a dismal status beforehand.

Show me a living breathing creature and I will show you a being that by its innate nature seeks freedom just as we seek food, water and shelter. A new Gallup Poll has found that even Democrats whose Party philosophy is wrapped around big government ideas may be falling out of love with the progressive model.

Proponents of the oft-rewritten DREAM Act (Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors) point to Gallup Poll results published on Friday as proof Americans support the DREAM Act. However, the question posed and the results actually warrant a closer look.

AP admits tax hike will affect all—somebody tell Obama and the Democrats

It only took poli-class media a year to tell Americans what The US Report claimed all along—those ‘Bush Tax Cuts’ (allegedly) ‘for the wealthy’ did indeed, the Associated Press now confirms, lower “marginal income tax rates at every level.”

And despite the fact President Barack Obama and fellow Democrats have repeatedly and obsessively implied those tax cuts were only “for the wealthy,” Obama now accuses Republicans of holding middle-class tax relief “hostage.”

Kos alleges poll data ‘likely bunk’, threatens lawsuit

Polls often yield predictable results. In a recent poll taken in the Day household, we learned 100 percent of dogs like doggie biscuits. Sample size was 2, but it was diverse, including a hound and a Schnauzer.A rather remarkable admission from the most influential blogger in Democrat-allied politics has come forth.  Markos Moulitsas at Daily Kos wrote, “I have just published a report by three statistics wizards showing, quite convincingly, that the weekly Research 2000 State of the Nation poll we ran the past year and a half was likely bunk.”

Moulitsas also known as ‘Kos,’ claims Daily Kos was ‘defrauded’ by the polling company, and he renounced any post based exclusively on the company’s polling. I’m thinking he might want to add a widget that shows on every page because Kos is essentially a blog mill.
