Do ObamaCare waivers provide more evidence for lawsuit?

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) vilified anyone who disagreed with ObamaCare. Pelosi especially vilified tea partiers, accusing them of many things that had no basis in reality. (Screen snip)

Democrats are famous for passing legislation without logically assessing the consequences. Of course, with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act known as ObamaCare, Dems couldn’t assess consequences because most of them didn’t even read the bill they voted for.

Any American not outraged by that needs a reality check. Liberals decided to socialize the US healthcare system by shoving a pig in a poke at us.

It’s my opinion the bill was put together based on a wish list from favored lobbyists.

Kagan’s cloudy role in PPACA suggests recusal for the public good

Most of us believe challenges to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act—some call it ObamaCare but I call it ObamaNotCare—are headed to the Supreme Court. Many of us believe Justice Elena Kagan should step aside, the act of recusal aimed at the public good.

Public watchdog groups Judicial Watch and Media Research Center have requested documents and messages originating during Kagan’s stint as President Barack Obama’s Solicitor General. The House Judiciary committee has also requested these materials.

In an astonishing act of obstruction, the Department of Justice led by scandal-plagued Attorney General Eric Holder has balked at many of these requests.

Healthcare bill outrage: Today in Massachusetts, coming soon to your state

Florida leads multi-state challenge to ObamaCare, petitions SCOTUS to review decision

Attorney General Pam Bondi speaks during a cabinet meeting. (Photo from state of Florida)Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a statement on Wednesday about the 26-state challenge to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act commonly called ObamaCare.

Bondi said Florida and the other 25 states filed a Petition for Writ of Certiorari asking the US Supreme Court to review the decision of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Bondi said ObamaCare is “an affront on Americans’ individual liberty.” She also said, “Our country urgently needs a final ruling from the US Supreme Court.”

The urgency is real. States and individual employers are scrambling to make sense of a law Democrats didn’t even read before passing.

New ObamaCare scandal: Millions in tax dollars spent on propaganda

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told Americans they had to pass the ObamaCare bill to see what's in it. Most Democrats admitted not reading the bill they passed. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act otherwise known as ObamaCare is, as I have said before, nothing more than socialization of the US healthcare system. The bill is blatantly unconstitutional. Now there’s a new scandal, this one uncovered by the watchdog group Judicial Watch.

ObamaCare: More than $700 million already committed to contractors and consultants

After Democrats passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, supporters were faced with making preparations for the government to assume control of what remained of the private healthcare market. Just as Medicaid and Medicare were built on vast bureaucracies, PPACA (commonly called ObamaCare) would require the same. So far,  more than $700 million in federal funding has been obligated or spent.

Boomers take note: PPACA points to ageism in federal policy

A week ago I experienced something new to me—ageism. I commented on a friend’s Facebook discussion and another commenter went a bit off his rocker. Because I don’t agree with liberal government spending, this man attacked me because of my age. I suppose he had to do that because he had no idea how to support his beliefs with fact. He and others like him appear to buy into the government’s anti-boomer rhetoric. Government policy will be no friend to those of us who begin to retire over the next decade.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is a perfect example.
