Big donor meeting ignored by media—joke is on Democrat supporters

The Democracy Alliance held its winter meeting recently. The group has a major impact on Democrat policies because of the millions of dollars donors provide for furthering a neoliberal agenda. (Map: CIA World Fact Book)The Democracy Alliance held a winter meeting the last week in November, but unlike Republican donors’ meetings, this gathering was ignored by media. The DA self-describes on the group’s paper thin website as “progressive investors/donors and movement leaders committed to a stronger democracy and more progressive America. “

There’s not even a contact phone number on the website.

The DA website does list bios on the leadership. Among the leaders listed is Michael Vachon, described as “George Soros’ political director.”

Are Democrats disenchanted with progressives’ big government model?

Show me a living breathing creature and I will show you a being that by its innate nature seeks freedom just as we seek food, water and shelter. A new Gallup Poll has found that even Democrats whose Party philosophy is wrapped around big government ideas may be falling out of love with the progressive model.

Progressives pull the race card in prostitution of identity politics

Progressives preach diversity, but if you step outside the collectivist box, the shunning begins.

The Associated Press ran a story on Sunday—‘GOP Latinos face questions over immigrant pasts.’

Has anyone ever considered looking into the ‘immigrant pasts’ of Democrats’ families?

Even the AP recognizes the double standard.

How many times have you ever seen a reporter asked elected Democrat officials questions about their family’s background?

Carson’s tea party hate speech an attempt to dodge Democrats’ record

Republican president Dwight D. Eisenhower (center) signed the 1957 Civil Rights Act to protect voting rights. On September 24, 1957, President Eisenhower sent federal troops to Little Rock, Ark., to enforce integration of black students who had been barred by national guardsmen as ordered by Gov. Orval Faubus. Faubus was a Democrat. The photo believed to date between 1953-1955, shows (left to right): Channing Tobias, Arthur Spingarn, Pres. Dwight Eisenhower, Clarence Mitchell, Walter White, and Theodore Spaulding. Mitchell and Tobias were well-known civil rights activists. Much of the white loyalty to the Democratic Party in the South dates to Eisenhower because of the Republican president’s stance on civil rights. (Photo from LOC, US Government)

Rep. Andre Carson (D-Ind.) made some of the most hateful remarks I’ve ever seen a congressman make.

Did Carson tell constituents his fellow Democrats  had total control of the federal government after the November, 2006 midterms until the November 2010 midterms? No. Instead he leveled hate speech at others in order to dodge his Democrats' record.

Reagan the one Republican progressives love to cite—now

Socialist progressives often cite President Ronald Reagan when they are trying to justify things like debt ceiling hikes.

The Heritage Foundation pointed out a few facts about Reagan’s administration compared to President Barack Obama’s administration.
