Operation Benghazi Accountability takes protest to local media in Jacksonville

Conservative media and some cable TV networks are alone in investigating the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. (Image: Screen snip, Breitbart News)Operation Benghazi Accountability will protest media negligence in reporting on the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

The protest is set for Thursday, Nov. 1 at 5:30 p.m. at First Coast News located at 1070 East Adams St. in Jacksonville (Fla.) for what supporters call an issue “critical to this election.”

Perhaps because of the November election, many media outlets have ignored the 9/11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. President Barack Obama’s administration has made a variety of statements about the attack, including one provably false—that the president called the attack an “act of terror” the day after it happened.

Occupy DC rejects platform of peace hoped for in Zuccotti Park

Occupy DC protesters rejected all pretense of peace on Friday, disrupting traffic and baiting policemen hard pressed to do their jobs amid what appeared to be utter chaos. The protesters blocked some cars—Moe Lane at Red State said the DC protesters were reportedly targeting luxury cars.

Al Qaeda calls for 'lone wolf' in West, 'use of force' in East

[CIA World Fact Book]The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) said al Qaeda has called for “lone wolf” attacks in the West and the “use of force” in protests in “the Muslim World.” MEMRI said those calls were published in the winter and spring issues of Inspire, the English version of al Qaeda’s official magazine.

In the winter, 2011 issue, MEMRI said an “anonymous Muslim living in the West” wrote to the magazine to seek information about joining the jihad. The response was given as a ‘letter from the editor.’

The editor advised the aspiring jihadist to “carry out a personal jihad mission with a lone wolf attack in a crowded area in his country in the West…”
