Minnesota board to certify Coleman-Franken results; recount follows

Senator Norm Coleman traveled to Rochester to meet with Midwest Specialized Transportation employees to discuss the widening impact of skyrocketing energy costs. Blogger Michael Brodkorb says the Minnesota State Canvassing board meets today at 1 p.m. to certify Senator Norm Coleman’s election win over Democrat Al Franken. Brodkorb planned to attend the meeting and promised updates. Brodkorb writes the indie blog Minnesota Democrats Exposed. Because the margin was so close, a recount begins Wednesday.
