Notables missing from Pulitzer prizes for reporting

The Pulitzer Prize is one of the only prizes in the writing world with a brand so solidly established that most Main Streeters recognize its mention. To be sure a number of the winners this year produced exceptional work. But missing from prizes for reporting on various levels are two publications very different in scope and readership.
