Obama mentions pay for First Lady amid contraception fracas: Condoms, anyone?

"...I wanna make sure that when she's working she is getting paid the same as men, I gotta say that First Ladies right now don't, even though that's a tough job!"

The president was introduced by Constitutional illiterate Sandra Fluke.

Fluke and Obama are missing a key pillar in the contraceptive debate that really isn't about contraception at all.

Hey, Sandra—ObamaCare will ‘fluke’ all women

Sandra Fluke’s advocacy for faith-based institutions to cover birth control for employees and students in insurance policies distracted Americans—with help from axis media—from the conversation we should be having. The reality is that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, commonly known as ObamaCare, will ‘fluke’ all women and men too.

For starters, Fluke’s advocacy will be rendered irrelevant.

Big media FAIL: Pelosi’s Fluke fluke

Sandra Fluke was introduced by Pelosi as a "passionate leader for young women, and all women" at the hearing Democrats held.(Screen Snip/C-Span video)The Left went big time crazy when conservative king of satire Rush Limbaugh posed a question asking if Sandra Fluke was a slut (since she wanted public funding for her birth control) and if that made him a pimp (since taxpayers would pay for the funding).

The door to controversy was actually blasted open by Democrats in the House.

Allred’s Limbaugh folly and past victim deliver opportunity for conservatives

Gloria Allred never ceases to entertain as she pursues opportunity like a raptor in search of prey. Her specialty is trotting out an alleged victim for self-advancement (for both Allred and the alleged victim). Now she wants conservative talk-meister Rush Limbaugh to be prosecuted because of questions he asked about political activist Sandra Fluke.

In commentary on Thursday, Fox News pundit Bill O’Reilly traced the evolution of Fluke.

She doesn’t appear to be a member of the media, but O’Reilly said another group, The Feminist Majority Foundation, “arranged” for Fluke to “appear at a press conference criticizing the Catholic bishops for objecting to President Obama’s contraception mandate.”

A Democrat in Congress asked Fluke to testify before the House Oversight Committee. Republican Rep Darrell Issa (Calif.) had the good sense to turn the law student/activist down. O’Reilly said Fluke went to the hearing anyway and complained to ABC News about being turned down.

Democrats are known for theatrics, and Fluke ended up being part of a mock hearing staged by Rep. Nancy Pelosi (Calif.)—this led to Limbaugh as target for Allred.

Unwittingly Allred is providing conservatives an opportunity.
