Obama’s warning on social security exposes truth about ‘assets’

The Social Security Administration provides an online handbook about social security programs.In early July The US Report called attention to a contradiction about social security. On the one hand, President Barack Obama repeatedly cautioned that social security checks might not go out if the US debt ceiling wasn’t raised again by August 2.

On the other hand, Obama’s administration officials in a report issued on July 8 assured everyone all was well.

Obama’s bizarre threat about social security checks at odds with SSA, GAO claims

Democrats and Republicans are engaging in hand-to-hand fiscal combat over the debt ceiling and federal spending. It’s customary for both parties to go a bit overboard in their claims, but a claim President Barack Obama reportedly made is bizarre.
