WaPo’s Journolist founder wrong: Romney didn’t “admit” middle class tax hike

In response to untrue ads about Romney's tax plan, the Crossroads PAC distributed a video.

NO THINKING PERSON WOULD TAKE the founder of Journolist seriously when it comes to truth in politics. Ezra Klein, who herded media into group think via his Listserv in 2008, wrote a column with this title at The Washington Post:

Mitt Romney admits he’ll need to raise taxes on the middle class

Romney didn’t admit that because it isn’t true.

Have ghosts of Journolist past returned to help Obama get reelected?

As the 2008 campaigns got underway with Sen. John McCain running his “nice” strategy against a vicious, well-funded liberal media machine, I often ranted about media bias. I also remarked more than once how uniform the coverage seemed to be.

I'm seeing uniformity now ahead of 2012.

WaPo hit piece on Rubio escalates continuing war waged by liberals

There was a hit piece on Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) in The Washington Post on Friday. The writer took the time to research Rubio’s parents’ immigration papers.

WaPo and FactCheck err on Clinton’s ‘bipartisan Medicare commission’

Media comprises a lot of 20 and 30 somethings, so it came as no surprise to me when a Washington Post blogger (better known for the nefarious collusion called Journolist) and Fact Check at the Annenberg Public Policy Center erred on a point Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) made about former President Bill Clinton and Medicare reform.

Ryan has been attacked by liberals using legacy media as proxy because Ryan actually offered a tangible plan for heading off what will be a Medicare disaster as baby boomers retire.

The WaPo blogger wrote: “So let’s review: President Clinton did not convene a bipartisan commission on Medicare…”

FactCheck wrote: “But any attempt to cast the 1999 report as bipartisan or suggest it was Clinton's commission is misleading.”

I am certain neither the liberal blogger nor Fact Check intended to call the politically rehabilitated Clinton a liar although that’s basically the consequence of their statements.

WaPo draws bigots’ attention with strange blurb on Glen Beck Rally

I was about to shut down today when I saw a blurb about Glenn Beck's rally in The Washington Post.

It’s hard for a thinking person to take The Washington Post seriously. I never link to the paper although I will cite it when I absolutely have to. There was the Obama salon—Politico said the WaPo publisher was going to sell access to White House officials, congressmen and even WaPo minions who write the daily dithering leftwingers love to read and cite.

Then there was the Journolist scandal—most political class media were afraid to report it because they had people on the list. The Journolist founder whose name I forget was some leftwing reporter who worked at WaPo and kept running his list. Democrat supporters gathered at the list like Holy Rollers gather at the river only the Journolist faithful were baptized in the blood of progressive politics and propaganda.

WaPo rushing healthcare bill book for consumers amid media circus over Democrat antics

With Obamacare set to change US healthcare and transfer authority over one-sixth of the economy to the federal government, media has had a field day. Perhaps one of the most potentially rewarding field days belongs to The Washington Post.

Aside from the fact WaPo has provided President Barack Obama with some well-connected employees as Newsbusters notes, the paper is also doing a rush job on a book about (what else?) the healthcare bill and the story behind the story.
