Tax Day tea parties gaining ground—will interlopers show up?

Tax Day tea parties are gaining ground with hundreds scheduled around the nation and if parties held in Orlando, Fla. are an indicator, thousands will show up to protest Uncle Sam’s hand dipping deeper into taxpayer pockets. Conservative sites like Newsbusters and Fox News’ Neil Cavuto have disclosed rumors of tax-loving statist interlopers showing up—we called these people liberals until Mark Levin hit the nail on the statism head with his book ‘Liberty and Tyranny.’ Huffington Post, the blog directory where you can set up your own deal and provide free content, has an invite posted: “The Huffington Post wants to have citizen journalists at as many of these events as possible.” Ironically, Mark Meckler, organizer of the Sacramento Tea Party, told Cavuto during an interview all are welcome. What a sharp contrast Meckler’s remarks illustrate. And by the way, what an insane term: 'citizen journalists.' Whoever thought that one up as blogs began to proliferate did us no favors.

Conservatives as a rule of thumb wholeheartedly endorse freedom of expression. Statists on the other hand want to torpedo anyone who disagrees with the government figure only a statist could love: Nanny.

The current administration and Democrat-controlled Congress will ultimately try to levy even larger taxes on earners because there’s no other way to pay for a level of spending that outranks any other administration in American history.

Tea Parties are a righteous protest by those who actually pay taxes. It’s easy to become angry when you look at your own tax instructions—if you don’t work, you can still get a tax refund. If you’re a performing artist, there’s a break. And  check out the tax tables. If you have more than $300,000 in combined income, God help you—you’re filthy rich and the statists want more than the roughly $85,000 you’ll pay in federal income taxes alone. By the way, I'm not 'filthy rich.' I just used that as an example.

It’s ironic that with almost complete control of established media, and with mega rich politicos like George Soros and the infamous Sandlers who reportedly took Wachovia down allegedly backing the statist blogs and political advocacy websites, those same statists want to squelch the voices of those who happen to disagree.

The Tea Party movement wasn’t an orchestrated effort, though many groups and celebs like Sean Hannity are lending their support now. The movement began with individuals who are fed up with seeing an obese central government squander hard-earned dollars, pour billions into “volunteerism,” and shuttle bucks to groups like ACORN.

While Democrat Party loving newspapers like The Washington Post and advocates like MSNBC praise everything that comes out of Washington regardless of how it smells to the rest of us, the Main Streeters who fund the current ideology are definitely not happy. By the way, you can let MSNBC know how you feel by voting on our president’s performance in a poll the network is conducting.

Conservatives can have some fun taking a quiz at the US Tea Party website where, courtesy of a few Q&As, you can learn a whole lot more about the trillions we cough up so groups like ACORN can get grants to sign up personalities like Mickey Mouse to vote.

Tea Parties will blossom across the nation April 15 in a peaceful protest of a government that is infracting on the US Constitution in ways even the most jaded conservative could not envision. And in keeping with the Constitution, even the interlopers are welcome.
