TUSR editor tackles media on ‘What’s the Buzz’
Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 8:41AM (Jacksonville) What’s the Buzz Radio Show with political insiders Cindy Graves and Lenny Curry will tackle the issue of liberal bias in the media on Thursday, July 9 at 5:00 on ABC 1320 WBOB.
What's the Buzz is hosted by Duval GOP chair Lenny Curry and GOP state committeewoman Cindy Graves. Graves is also 1st vice president of the Florida Federation of Republican Women.“This show follows a week of unexpected media attention much of which included unfair and inaccurate reporting regarding the Republican Party of Duval that culminated in a dubious MSNBC award that elevated Chairman Curry to the iconic status of Rush Limbaugh. We thought it was about time to take irresponsible media to task, explore the issue and how biased reporting affects American politics,” said Cindy Graves, co-host of the show and Duval County Republican State Committeewoman.
What Graves refers to as out of control liberal bias in the media will be explored on What’s the Buzz with special guest Kay Day of The US Report, an award winning author and poet who is also a self professed conservative journalist in a decidedly liberal profession.
“A recognized political analyst known for hard hitting journalism and a biting wit, Day will bring a wealth of research and industry knowledge to what is sure to be a lively discussion on what we can expect in this age of blog-driven media and 24 hour cable news,” said Graves.
The What’s the Buzz radio program can be heard in NE Florida every Thursday at 5:00 PM immediately following Glenn Beck and proceeding Mark Levin on ABC 1320 AM WBOB. Listeners are encouraged to call 904-854-1320 and take part in the discussion.
