Why Wesley Clark missed the boat on the issue of McCain’s military service

Gen. Wesley Clark grabbed lots of airtime and ink after he made comments about Sen. John McCain’s military service. In some comments, Clark alluded to McCain not having to give orders to blow stuff up. I paraphrased. Clark succeeded in grabbing attention for himself and his party; that’s nothing new. But no one’s noticed there’s a very good platform for McCain’s strengths as a president, and that has nothing to do with what he did or didn’t blow up. I wrote an essay at Red State where I blog each week, and I invite you to read it. I was inspired by a man who was imprisoned with McCain in Vietnam. Does Clark have his eye on the VP slot or a possible cabinet position? Catch my essay, The real asset overlooked by Clark et al. in John McCain's military service.
